We are unable to issue letters / certificates stating patents are fit to participate in sports / leisure activities. For example marathons, skydiving, scuba diving etc. Assessing whether someone is fit to participate in such activities, falls outside of our area of expertise as General Practitioners (GPs).

We can provide factual information about your medical history, if required by an organisation which runs such activities. Please note there will be a charge for this, and we cannot include an opinion about whether you can perform the activity safely.

Some organisations e.g. sky diving centres, may have links to specialist doctors who can provide such opinions.
