Patient Participation Group

Overview

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of people who are patients of the surgery and want to help it work as well as possible for patients, doctors, and staff. The NHS requires every practice to have a PPG.

The MVP Patient Group (MVPPG) is the new name of Manor View Practice’s Patient Participation Group (PPG).

The Chair of The MVPPG is Lesley Palumbo.

Should I Join The MVPPG?

Whether you’ve been to the surgery as a patient, parent, carer, or friend, your experiences are important. You can bring different ideas to the practice to help us treat patients better and ensure they remain at the heart of everything we do.  You’ll also gain a better understanding of the NHS and how it works.

MVPPG will work with the MVP team to strive for improvements or suggest new ways of doing things. Joining MVPPG will give you a chance to make a real difference.

How Often Does The MVPPG Meet?

MVPPG meet at one of MVP’s surgeries by rotation, four times a year.

We need to hear from as broad a spectrum of patients as possible so even if you can’t attend all meetings, we still want to hear your views and will contact members from time to time to ask your opinions and advice on the provision of services at Manor View Practice

Will My Views Be Heard?

Your views are important and will be listened to. It may not be possible for MVP to act on every suggestion, but all feedback is valued and will be considered.

As a group, we work collaboratively in a spirit of mutual respect, openness and trust. All patients’ views are discussed and, where appropriate, we will work together on solutions.

Patient Survey 2024

Your feedback plays an important role in developing how MVP might operate, so please do take this opportunity to have your say.

MVPPG would like to hear from as many patients as possible to find out what they think about the services at Manor View Practice.  For more information visit the Patient Survey page.

How Do I Join?

If you are interested in joining our PPG, please fill out the registration form below, and one of the PPG members will get in touch with you.
