Dr Nicola Harris grew up in Porthcawl , Wales and went to Porthcawl Comprehensive School. She went to medical school in London at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School and qualified in 1992. She initially trained in Care of the Elderly but changed careers to general practice in 1999. She joined Manor View Practice in 2002.
Dr Harris has maintained an interest in care of the elderly and cardiology and is trained in joint injections. She is also the prescribing lead for the practice.
At home she is the mother of two teenage boys. She loves to travel and is a very keen amateur cook.
Dr Deborah Gordon
Dr Deborah Gordon grew up in Glasgow. She went to medical school at the University of Birmingham and completed her GP training in Barnet, North London.
She joined Manor View Practice in 2010 and has a special interest in women’s health. She fits contraceptive coils and implants and has specialist knowledge on the menopause. She also enjoys paediatrics and undertakes 6 weeks baby checks.
When not working, she enjoys family life, spending time with her two young children. She enjoys cooking, travelling to new places and watching medical dramas (fictional).
Dr Ketan Bhatt
Dr Ketan Bhatt grew up in Stanmore and went to medical school at University College London (UCL). He completed his GP training in Watford.
He has been with Manor View Practice since 2007. As well as being a full-time Partner, he is also the Co-Clinical Director of our Primary Care Network as well as our local federations, Direct Local Health and Herts One. He is the clinical lead for learning disability, the PPG and clinical complaints.
Outside the practice he enjoys going to the gym and spending as much time as possible with his young family.
Dr Sonal Shah
Dr Sonal Shah grew up in North London and graduated from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2004. She completed her GP training in Barnet. She has been with Manor View Practice since 2012.
As well as being a full time Partner, she is the Co-Clinical Director of Primary Care Network. She splits her week between clinical care and management of the practice.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, keeping fit and travelling as much as possible. She also enjoys baking.
Dr Haroon Rauf
Dr Haroon Rauf was raised in Barnet. and attended medical school at St George’s University. He completed his GP training in Watford and joined Manor View Practice in 2014.
He has particular interests in Men’s Health and musculoskeletal disorders. He provides NHS services for minor ops, cryotherapy as well as selected joint injections. He is the CQC registered manager.
Away from work he is married and has a young family. He has a passion for food and entertaining as well as having a large interest in sports. He is a dedicated and life-long Arsenal fan.
Dr Sameer Khurjekar
Dr Sameer Khurjekar grew up in North West London and graduated from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2004. He completed his GP training in Central Middlesex, London. He joined Manor View Practice in October 2019 after working in Brent for over a decade.
He has special interests in diabetes, palliative medicine and is the clinical lead for medical education in the practice.
Outside of the practice his hobbies include chauffeuring his young family, keeping fit and singing at Saturday night jam sessions.
